This is a multidisciplinary society comprising Pediatricians, Pediatric Neurologists, Developmental Pediatricians, Physiatrist, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Orthotics, Special Educators, Clinical Psychologists and Social workers. Our aim is to create an interdisciplinary forum and facilitate communications and team providing services and care for CP children. Our mission is to provide scientific education for health professionals and promote excellence with cerebral palsy. Effective communication and education of parents for coping strategies required to meet the demands and stress of parenting special child.
To promote awareness of cerebral Palsy at Professional, Educational, Community & Social levels as important group of health initiatives, which need our urgent attention and action. As these disorders are multi disciplinary in nature, the academy shall be committed to foster interactions and stimulate networking among health professionals. It will provide multidisciplinary scientific education for health professionals and promote excellence in research and services for the benefit of children with cerebral palsy.
The academy shall be committed to train professionals across the country by providing opportunities to learn the latest evidence based scientific advances in the filed by conducting annual/biennial conferences, symposia, courses, workshop and continuing educational programs.
